Our clients loved to BBQ & host large parties at their home & now wanted a patio that matched their enthusiasm. They dreamed of an outdoor kitchen island for grilling & a fire pit for guests to gather around.
We began bringing their vision to life by eliminating a patch of struggling turf grass to make room for their new expanded, outdoor living space. We poured an expanded deck composed of a salt-finish concrete to give us a more functional patio space. We then began with the outdoor kitchen. We designed a compact outdoor kitchen that would give our client ample grilling space & countertop space for feeding his family & friends. We constructed the outdoor kitchen using a natural ledger stone & then poured a richly colored concrete countertop to match.
Next, we constructed a beautiful custom fire pit to create another destination within the landscape. We matched the natural ledger stone that we used on the outdoor kitchen, to tie the two elements together. We also poured the capstone to match the same natural brown tone we used on the outdoor kitchen’s countertop. Finally, we added a curvilinear bench around the fire pit to expand our clients’ seating options outdoors. Now, our clients have an outdoor living space that is perfect for entertaining & relaxing year after year!
