Recently, Rosewood Senior Living Community approached our designers to create a new, outdoor patio space for their residents to use for dining & socializing. The outdoor patio space was to be connected with the main dining area & closely connected to the property’s main entrance.
We created an expansive outdoor kitchen that completely transformed the outdoor patio space. The outdoor kitchen offers beautifully colored granite countertops with room for bar seating. Aside from the restaurant-quality grill, we also incorporated a custom EVO grill for easier grilling for large events.
Next, we had to make sure the environment was as welcoming as possible, even during our intensely hot summers. To create a large shade footprint & add color to the space, we installed a number of massive, Italian-made FIM patio umbrellas. Their red coloring adds a dynamic “pop” to the outdoor space. We also wanted to create a more intimate feel to the space, while also concealing the view to the parking lot directly east. In order to accomplish this, we created a lush boundary of Star Jasmine garden trellises that fill the space with an attractive, green backdrop & provide an aromatic fragrance in bloom.
Now the Garden Cafe is complete & the community at Rosewood Senior Living has a truly welcoming environment for their residents.
